Heavenstrings
 Overview
If you are looking for some live music to add that special atmosphere
to your wedding ceremony, Heavenstrings has a wide number of groups
available. We love to add some extra romance to the moment that marks
the beginning of your lives together!
For weddings and events with up to 50 guests we recommend:
- duo - 2 violins, flute and violin, violin and guitar, or violin
and cello
- trio - 2 violins and cello; or flute, violin and cello
For larger weddings and events:
- trio - 2 violin and cello; or flute, violin and cello
- string quartet - 2 violins, viola and cello
These ensembles create a lovely atmosphere. Heavenstrings is also
able to arrange other instrumental performers such as Harp, Guitar,
Singers and even Brass, or Piano upon request.
Standard ceremony booking times are usually for one hour, which
includes music before your ceremony (usually 15-20mins) as your guests
arrive and afterwards as they congratulate the newly married couple. We
are available to play for all elements of your day, including the
Signing of the Register, Candle Ceremony, Hymns etc as well as the
Bride’s entrance (Processional) and the exit music (Recessional) for the
happy couple at the conclusion of the ceremony.
We are also available to play for many other parts of your day,
including entertaining your guests during pre-dinner drinks as well as
other elements of your reception such as the Bridal Party entrance, Cake
Cutting, dinner music and that all important first dance.
Heavenstrings has a wide range of music available for your day,
including classical and popular favourites. My training includes Music
Arrangement skills and I am happy to create custom arrangements of any
songs that may hold special significance for you.
